Crepes

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2¼ cups flour

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs and salt, then gradually and continuously add milk and flour, ending with the flour.

    • Mix until smooth.

  2. Add the melted butter and mix.

  3. Refrigerate batter for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  4. Heat the crepe pan and spread a thin layer of batter in the pan.

  5. Flip it over when the top starts bubbling.

  6. When crepes are done, spread with Nutella evenly and roll up.

  7. Sprinkle the top with a little powdered sugar and enjoy.

    Notes:

  8. Optional Strawberry Filling: 1 qt thinly sliced strawberries, mix with 1 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp cognac or brandy. Let sit 30 minutes.

  9. Fill crepes with 1–2 tbsp fruit mixture and roll. Top with 1 tbsp whipped cream and powdered sugar.

  10. Delicious!
